There's a interesting software you can use with your Windows Live Messenger, called StuffPlug.
One of the greatest things is, in the normal messenger the caracter limit is 400 characters per message, this exceeds by far the messenger plus that goes around 1500 caracters, with StuffPlug you can boost it even further up to whopping 4000 characters.
You can also "steel" their pictures, costum emotions, winks and much more else like blocking contacts, fake activities (always a good trick to surpise your contacts)...
