The new shooter from Codemasters, Damnation, sets huge challenge in other games, focusing on the verticality of their levels, giving much emphasis to this feature that seems to forget that a feature is not the game.
In Damnation we are placed in alternate Earth, where the American Civil War continued for decades, and the steam power replace the power electricity. The scenery is mostly consisting of industrial buildings, such as mines and factories, where most of the population works as slave to a drug called Serum, supplied by an unscrupulous tycoon, which increases the physical and psychological capacities.

Rourke is the main character, is a member of a group of people who is entitled "PeaceMakers" who fight against the corporation holding the Serum, in order to protect the cities that are still free.
