One of the best medieval fairs took place in Santa Maria da Feira, Portgual.
This fair attempts to recreate the lives of our ancestors, i saw the fights, the take over the castle, the big tournament among others...
I believe this is the biggest and most amazing fair in south Europe, lost of Spanish and French come to Portugal to live intensely this week.
This year's history tells us the beginning of the reign of Afonso IV is marked by hatred and thirst for revenge against his brothers Afonso João and Afonso Sanches, causing three years of war,
where the Queen Isabel, despite living in reclusion in the Convent of Coimbra, tries to intervene in public life of the Kingdom, seeking peace and reconciliation.
